Description
Bath Non-Profit Housing Inc. (est. 2020) will assess the feasibility to convert an existing abandoned hospital into 20-25 sustainable affordable apartments with community space in Bath, New Brunswick. The SAH planning grant will support the applicant to conduct a needs and financial assessment, stakeholder engagement activities, existing documents review and an energy assessment. this work will form the basis of a business plan and financial model. The plan will also assess the generating potential of solar energy, as the property appears well-situated to host a solar field. The outcomes from this funding initiative will help the organization access additional FCM funding to support an eventual capital project. (Project description from original funding application)
