Description
The Town of Lincoln's Asset Management Committee (AMC) will lead the organization's capacity building activities for all asset classes including: Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Roads (including Bridges and culverts), Fire, Facilities, Parks & Trails and Information Technology. The AMC will complete a maturity assessment to set benchmarks and a gap analysis to identify priorities. The Town will develop a Data Governance policy, Risk Framework and a standard Asset Management Plan (AMP) template for each service class that will roll into a Corporate AMP. The consultant hired to guide the Town of Lincoln will work directly with the AMC members to identify lifecycle strategies and Levels of Service for each asset category. The consultant and the AMC will document Standard Operating Procedures to be followed in future to ensure the AMP is a living document.
