Description
$100,000 GMEF funding toward a $250,000 study assessing waste management optimization with three measurablegoals - waste diversion, decreased GHG emissions from collection vehicles, and landfill gas utilization. The study willidentify new technologies to help the city maximize waste diversion while minimizing greenhouse gas generation. Thisprocess could be replicated in other municipalities, regardless of size.
