Description
The Larder Lake Perpetual Asset Management Implementation Project will steer the Corporation of the Township of Larder Lake (Township) to embracing the principles of asset management of its infrastructure and ensure a formalized and holistic approach for wise long-term resource investments. The Township will develop an Asset Management Policy, and standard operating procedures; it will update its existing Asset Management Plan, undertake condition assessment of its assets and ensure asset related data are entered in a GIS mapping system. The Township will provide asset management training for its employees and elected officials, engage the public through improved communication, and purchase software to facilitate asset management and decision-making, and allowing for the integration of asset management practices to the Township's business practices.
