Description
Quebec City’s incinerators annually produce between 250,000 and 300,000 tonnes of CO2, a greenhouse gas. This study will evaluate adapting a recycling enzyme process to reduce CO2. An enzymatic bioreactor may be capable of converting the CO2 into bicarbonate, an environmentally harmless product that also has interesting commercial value. The study will identify the technical requirements, assess its economic viability and provide an on-site field test for the recycling enzyme process.*** Report is available in French only.
