Description
The City of Prince Albert is interested in expanding its public transportation services beyond current hours of operation on weekday evenings, and on Saturdays. The project consists of a 4-month trial. If successful, the increased hours of operation will reduce traffic congestion, and could stretch peak demand periods for public transit, making it easier to manage the fleet of vehicles and the service itself. The project aligns with the City's Official Community Plan that calls for initiatives that are socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable.
