Description
"The Rural Municipality of Stuartburn will develop a Surface Water Management Strategy that will provide
insight into the flood and drought risks to municipal assets through an in-depth investigation of the culvert
assets and the water flow network throughout the RM. This project will provide flood-risk maps and a
comprehensive management strategy for implementing cost-effective flood and drought risk reduction for Stuartburn while not displacing the flood and drought risk on to neighbouring municipalities. The objective of the project, which is part of a collaborative partnership with the Municipalities of Stuartburn, Emerson Franklin and Hanover, is to reduce flood and drought risk within three watersheds.
