Description
The Municipal District of Wainwright No.61 will conduct the inspection of roads, its largest and most critical asset class, to assess structural adequacy, remaining service life, rehabilitation and ongoing maintenance strategies. The MD will also be developing a corporate asset management policy to guide the development of a corporate asset management plan that will tie the new information from the roads inspection together with all other asset classes and services. The town will also acquire and implement and asset management and capital planning software in accordance with the asset management policy and plan guidelines. Overall, the Municipal District will provide a greater internal capacity to its staff in order to better manage all planning activities throughout each asset’s lifecycle.
