Description
The Township of East Hawkesbury will conduct sensor base surface condition data collection to achieve a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and a Sidewalk Condition Index (SCI) using 3D and 360 cameras. PCI is required for paved roads by O. Reg. 588/17 Asset Management Plan for Municipal Infrastructure.Data will be processed using machine learning, artificial intelligence, and human based quality control. Streetlogix software is customized with municipality's own maintenance and repair preferences and costs.Software algorithms include PCI/SCI, road classification, depreciation, and cost/benefit analysis to generate maintenance suggestions and repair prioritizations and allow for budgeting, planning and asset management analysis.
