Description
The Rural Municipality of East St. Paul will hire an Asset Management and Finance Assistant and develop an Asset Management Policy. In addition, the RM will create a heavy equipment inventory. The project will contribute to the creation of a comprehensive, holistic program that would see the development of effective policies/systems, and robust training/enhanced staff awareness to optimize assets and minimize risk. The addition of this position will allow for focused effort in this important area. At the conclusion of project, the RM will be in a position to assess the ongoing value of this position, which may result in it becoming a permanent part of our workforce, allowing for ongoing development in this area.
