Description

The Rural Municipality of La Broquerie wants to leverage industry experts and their experience to draft a set of Asset Management (AM) policies that will include guiding direction for day-to-day AM activities, while ensuring environmental stewardship and formalized communication strategy. This is so that the RM can better engage internal and external stakeholders more effectively in the AM and planning processes. Using these policies, and the selected AM and capital planning software, the RM will be able to perform a Wastewater Rate study and incorporate all findings into an Asset Management Plan, outlining current level of service delivery and financial requirements needed for long-term, sustainable, service delivery. The RM will also actively participate in technical and best practice training for internal staff as well elected official to increase our organizational capacity to anticipate, respond and plan for all the challenges we face when managing our assets and providing services to our community.
