Description
The Town of Arborg has recognized the need to develop a formal asset management approach. The main achievement of this project includes the Town developing a consolidated Asset Management Framework (Asset Management Policy, Strategy, Roadmap and Plan) to inform infrastructure investment decisions. This framework will draw upon centralized asset data, and staff will be trained on appropriate principles for program execution.The creation of an Asset Management policy will outline Asset Management as a priority for the Town. An Asset Management Strategy, Roadmap, and Plan will provide the Town with a clear direction to progress their asset management program. Centralizing Asset data will improve record keeping and allow staff access to information they need to make important decisions. Staff training will improve internal capacity to progress asset management.
