Description
This feasibility study will establish an emissions reduction target and develop and finalize a Local Action Plan to reducegreenhouse gas emissions in municipal operations and in the community. The plan will draw up a comprehensivestrategy to identify greenhouse gas emissions reduction measures; highlight programs and partners to deliver thosereductions; establish a community structure to co–ordinate programs delivering those reductions; and forecast localbenefits and the impacts of greenhouse gases. The study will also draw up a communications plan, present options forfinancing these activities and develop a system to monitor and verify the community's progress.
