Description
The Courtenay Land Disposition and Acquisition Strategy initiative is intended to identify and evaluate the highest-and-best-use of all land and improvements owned by the City. This is, in effect, an Asset Management Condition Assessment conducted under contract to Urban Systems Inc. to determine whether some portions of these City-owned assets are excess to the City's needs. Furthermore, in compliance with the applicable statutory requirements, Council's Asset Management Policy and Strategic Priorities and the CAO's Asset Management Working Group Directive, to devise an Action Plan to apply the identified latent value to accomplish Sustainable Service Delivery of this asset class.
