Description

The Rural Municipality of Springfield (RM) will compile asset data from as-built drawings and internal
records into excel, perform field work to fill-in gaps in the data-set. The asset condition, replacement dates
and value of replacement will be estimated based on in house experience and entered in to the excel data
base. Asset criteria data includes date of install, estimated replacement value, estimated life span,
estimated replacement date and estimated condition. The RM will also perform internal review of the dataset for completeness.
Secondly, the RM will source, procure and implement an Enterprise-wide Asset Management software,
develop training resources and train staff and convert excel data-set into the software. verify conversion
has been successful and produce a report from the software detailing the estimated replacement date and
valuesforthe next20 years.
