Description
The Township of Georgian Bay staff will receive training on asset management best practices and learn how to implement key factors of municipal asset management including risk modeling, life cycle modelling and condition protocols.Activities will be completed as part of an Asset Management Plan update that complies with Ontario Regulation 588/17: 1. Asset data refinement/disaggregation and asset data gap analysis to update and consolidate asset information into a central system for both asset management and tangible capital asset reporting.2. Deterioration and risk modeling will be added to the asset system, and asset condition rating criteria will be developed to provide better information for asset management.
