Description
This project will encompass the creation of a Capital Asset Management Plan for the infrastructure of theVillage of Port Elgin. It will consist of the review of existing PSAB 3150 infrastructure data in the municipalityand data gaps will be addressed through review of record drawings and field data collection. Asset conditionwill be established through a combination of visual inspection (roads, sewer, facilities) and age basedmethods. The compiled information will allow the prioritization of assets based on the level of service withregards to the performance of each asset as well as the creation of a capital investment strategy. Finally,the gathered information will be placed in a decision-making document to be frequently referenced, revisedand updated.
