Description
As a result of its 2017 strategic planning session, council and municipal staff have become increasingly aware of the Rural Municipality of Emerson-Franklin’s infrastructure gaps, and recognize that concerted efforts will have to be made and funding obtained/set aside for the future renewal or replacement of the municipality's core infrastructure. The municipality will improve its Asset Management Planning through the following activities:1) Collect and compile existing Asset Information into one central system,2) Set-up an AM Plan framework, and 3) Conduct AM Training to maintain, create, and assess our Asset data.The municipality will build on its existing data that is currently scattered within its organization and external organizations. The municipality will focus on road, culvert, bridge, water & sanitary and building asset to be able to evaluate condition, risks and conduct level of service analysis.
