Description
The Rural Municipality of Wallace-Woodworth will collect data in a consistent manner to identify the condition of the assets within the Municipality. The focal point will be on entering the Tangible Capital Assets and gathering current Transportation and GIS information. Asset classes covered by this project includes 800 miles of roads and culverts. An Excel program will be designed that is user-friendly and flexible to additions and tracking changes. Once the information is collected the Municipality will be able to move forward with practices and policies appropriate to Asset Management. The structure of the program will be the basis for future Asset Management standards and used for budgetary considerations.
